I said a quick hello to my dear friend Mariah and met her newest addition. Baby Sammy was 6 weeks in these pics. She was so cute and a little doll to experiment with. Thanks Mariah for letting me practice on your little one! So fun!

I had the pleasure to photography my Aunt's lovely family while visiting my parents in Utah. They were a fun bunch to shoot. While we were on the hunt for a good location, a wild rat kept invading our space and trying to mess everything up! But we prevailed and got some really fun and candid shots!

my new Canon 50d

....took her for a ride and am amazed with the quality!

I have always been a huge believer in film cameras...and love the way film captures the essence of life. But I have to say that in recent years, digital cameras have truly improved and impressed me with their quality and clearness. Not to mention their ease with uploading and editing, without the hassel of developing and processing. So with that said,

I've offically switched to digital. I just purchased my Canon 50d and I love it. I can't wait to start doing my photo sessions with it. It's a beauty and I'm so thankful that I was able to get it!

So I'm getting really excited for the summer and all of this great sunshine weather! After a couple of crazy months in my first trimester and I'm back in the game. Oh baby Lila...how you did not want your picture taken! You sure were a cutie and I still enjoyed taking your picture even though you would have done of it! Really, it was a fun experience and amazing how those little personalities shine through from day one. Thanks Shanna for letting me practice on such a sweet baby girl! She sure is a beautiful baby:)
