Today I wanted to play with the settings on my camera a bit. And to experiment with light. I love trying new things and learning more about my camera...here's what I came up with...

Mia McRae

I have been looking forward to this shoot for so long! I was so excited and honored to hold and photograph such a beautiful little baby. She was amazing and slept like a champ. I got so many good shots of this wee one and wanted to share a few! Amy--you look amazing for number five and it was so fun to see you again! Enjoy....

Pumpkin Patch

A beautiful day at the pumpkin patch. There's nothing quite like the setting of hundreds of pumpkins and the fall trees!

Little Beauty

This little miss is currently one of my favorite subjects to photograph. She is at that age where she is pretty candid most of the time and can focus on the camera long enough to take a few pictures! I love how these turned out. She was playing outside and when I came out she was lying like this on the ground....such a perfect little angel!

Miss Amy

My good friend Amy was kind enough to let me take maternity pics of her. Pregnant with her fifth baby girl, she still looks as beautiful as ever! It was so fun to shoot that cute belly. Thanks Amy for being my guinea pig!

Dream Big

I love always loved photographs. There is something to say about capturing life on a piece of paper. It's offical...I've decided to hone in on my creative skills and become a photographer. I've been married for four years to a wonderful man that is supportive in all of my many endeavers. This, like many other things in my life, I am very passionate about and excited to get things rolling. I have a beautiful daughter who is the love if my life and a great subject to photograph! I enjoy doing many creative things which are often reflected in my pictures. I love using natural light and I've discovered that it's the best way to caputure the natural sweet moments that life bring. I will be blogging my favorites of future shoots. Stay tuned!
