John's senior pics were so much fun to take. We found this great old abandoned house next to an open field...both were great backdrops. Man, Utah has some great photo locations! I {heart} this first picture. He is such a handsome guy! I guess I'm partial since he's my little brother!

My cute cousin deserved a mini session to show off her new summer dress. We spent only about 10min. in her backyard, but we got some fun shots!

I said a quick hello to my dear friend Mariah and met her newest addition. Baby Sammy was 6 weeks in these pics. She was so cute and a little doll to experiment with. Thanks Mariah for letting me practice on your little one! So fun!

I had the pleasure to photography my Aunt's lovely family while visiting my parents in Utah. They were a fun bunch to shoot. While we were on the hunt for a good location, a wild rat kept invading our space and trying to mess everything up! But we prevailed and got some really fun and candid shots!

my new Canon 50d

....took her for a ride and am amazed with the quality!

I have always been a huge believer in film cameras...and love the way film captures the essence of life. But I have to say that in recent years, digital cameras have truly improved and impressed me with their quality and clearness. Not to mention their ease with uploading and editing, without the hassel of developing and processing. So with that said,

I've offically switched to digital. I just purchased my Canon 50d and I love it. I can't wait to start doing my photo sessions with it. It's a beauty and I'm so thankful that I was able to get it!
